February 22nd

What HASN'T been going on today? Let me talk about my day currently!

Things have changed in my current work schedule, but I work over at the CAB West building in the mornings now. Different location, different time, same job. Though completely different people. I swear this building is SO much more laid back and relaxed and kind. Anything I need, I get. I'll give you a for instance for this morning.
I got here (admittedly, a little late. Still getting used to the waking up and the driving time) and the phones were already ringing OFF the hook, and I'd been here long enough to know what that meant. Some kind of bomb or shooting threat, (most of them never credible) but I had to pick a call up (cuz that's my job!) and tell them that I didn't have info yet and that I was opening my email as we spoke. I hadn't even clocked in yet. Thankfully, the lady on the other line was an administrative assistant from a school that just wanted more info to tell parents, so I got lucky that way. So I found the email and so began my day, repeating the same thing over and over. It was a wake up! But then I got a Spanish speaker, and in my home building at CAB East, I know who to send those to, but here in CAB West, I'm not sure. So I walked into the nearest department and asked who the Spanish speakers were as my phone was ringing off the hook, and we took a while trying to find someone, and after a fruitless guessing game, I had to run back to the phones to take care of as many as I could. But after a couple minutes, apparently they had still been thinking about me, because one of them came out and directly walked me to the back to meet with and discuss the situation with a Spanish Speaker that I could send it to! They had STILL been thinking of me!
On top of that, the front doors weren't opening. I'm really glad they worked for me. I couldn't get too involved because I was taking all the calls.
That was my morning! Also, I got restless overloaded and half asleep last night with thoughts of D&D because Atlantean finally designed my villain and Atlantean said, "If they don't run from this, I don't know what will make them." I'm excited to have a villain that's actually scary, but whether or not to use him is the fun decision...
Tonight is my last D&D until I have to wait another month. I have been rather proud. Atlantean has confessed he wants to continue with my campaign over Aos Si's, and one of the other guild members is sick and is going to miss tonight and he confessed he was upset and was gonna miss it too. It's really cool to have people care about a campaign like mine!

Also I wrote a song for my play! I wrote a whole song! And while it's simple, it's mine and it's cool to think that while it's not my strong suit, I CAN do this!
It's called Faster. Faster in Sedna, Goddess of the Sea, was written by MWAH.

I want to talk about a day I had recently that was pretty productive! Atlantean went off in the morning to go watch a movie with Troll (Battle Angel Alita) and Sylph came over to give me some of the soap we had made and we split up the rest among the other three girls who helped. Then Sylph and I went over to IFA because they were having IFA customer days, which in the past has been pretty simply, just a barbecue out on the dock, but with the new store, they really upped the ante! They not only had meat, but they had different kinds of hot dogs, potato salad, chips and water! They had sales everywhere, baby goats for petting and display and K9 dogs doing cool tricks and showing off their training. Then we met Atlantean down at Game Haven to celebrate Ravnica Weekend (Sylph is still with us BTW) and we got to play a three hour long D&D game where we each got to play guilds from Ravnica (Orzhov forever!! It's a really mean miserly money-loving guild and I'm proud of us) But in the end, adorable soft spoken Sylph sabotaged the whole game and stole the objective and sold it off at a higher price! The end!

It was a cool day.
